For this garland I used worsted weight yarn — soft white 80 grams for the eyeball whites, blue 10 grams, green 10 grams, brown 10 grams for irises, black 10 grams for pupils, and red 5 grams for veins. I use a 3.5mm hook so eyeballs are tight and round — not loose — about 2.5" wide each. I also had jute twine 5 feet long for vertical hanging — natural twine — just like in your photo with jute twine holding 8 eyeballs vertically on black wall, with orange pumpkins and eucalyptus at bottom.
